Ways to Get Involved
We will support you by providing all the training required to carry out your role with confidence. This varies from role to role but we will support you along the way. You will have regular contact with our Volunteer team who will keep in touch with you to keep you up to date with news from across Sports Connections Foundation. We want to make sure you have an enjoyable and rewarding volunteering experience with us and we really value the contribution you make and the time that you give.
We'll also make sure you've got any materials that you need for your role and can reimburse any reasonable travel expenses too.
Once you've completed six months volunteering with us, we will also be happy to provide a reference for you to any future employers. In return, we just ask that you are committed to your role and are a great ambassador for the charity.
We currently have a number of roles where we are looking for additional volunteer support. Could you give a few hours, a few days or even sign up for a regular volunteering opportunity? We would love to hear from you.
There are so many ways that you can get involved with Sports Connections Foundation as a volunteer. You can be as involved as much or as little as you want. Whether it's an hour or two that you can spare each week, there are so many ways that you can help us.
You must be a UK resident and aged 16 or over to apply. If you are under 18 we will require parental consent.
Additional: We encourage diversity in all our volunteer roles. If you have a disability or additional need and have concerns as to your ability to volunteer, please do contact us to see how we can support you.
