SCF Children's Charity are delighted to be able to reach even more young people in Huntingdon thanks to the National Lottery Million Hours Funding.
The Million Hours Fund is a £22 million jointly funded initiative from the Department for Culture, Media and Sport (DCMS) and The National Lottery Community Fund, the largest community funder in the UK.
The programme funds organisations to provide positive activities for young people in areas with high levels of anti-social behaviour. SCF have put extra hours into the sports social youth cafe in Huntingdon and are delivering open access sporting sessions on the Oxmoor estate.
Junior McDougald CEO of SCF Children's Charity commented, "We are thrilled to receive this funding from the National Lottery, it will mean we can provide so many more hours of youth provision in areas of Huntingdon where there is most need".
